A 17-year-old boy has died following a collision involving a hatchback and a truck early this morning on Wilberforce Road, near Freemans Reach Road.

Emergency services were called to the scene at around 4:35 am on Tuesday. Police from Hawkesbury Police Area Command arrived to find the two vehicles had collided, with the hatchback’s driver pronounced dead at the scene. The boy is yet to be formally identified.

The truck driver, whose age is unknown, was uninjured. He was taken to Nepean Hospital for mandatory testing as investigations into the circumstances of the crash begin.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
