A police helicopter search this morning failed to locate a 24-year-old man with outstanding warrants, despite a heavy presence in the area.

Residents reported hearing police from the helicopter broadcasting a description of the suspect, stating they were looking for a man with blonde hair, a rat’s tail, beige pants, and a dark shirt.

The aerial search attracted significant attention from the community, with locals taking to social media to share their concerns and observations.

“I saw the police standing metres away from him. They know where he is. He tried running out in front of traffic,” one resident commented.

“Gosh, I hope they caught him.”

“He ran through my backyard at 6:50 am this morning in Lang Road. Very scary! Police came straight away,” another resident said.

A police spokesperson confirmed to the Hawkesbury Post that the man remains at large but assured the public that there is no ongoing threat to community safety.
