An interim ADVO against former Hawkesbury Mayor Sarah McMahon has been withdrawn. NSW Police made the application to withdraw the ADVO at Windsor Court this morning.

McMahon had been under the constraints of the domestic violence order since July when police alleged she unlawfully accessed her ex-boyfriend Matthew Bennett’s business premises and accessed his computer searching for evidence of an affair.

No charges were laid against McMahon over the incident.

McMahon’s appeared outside the Court for the first time today. She was seen smiling while taking photographs of herself with her solicitor.
